Connexion Collective: connection starts here

Welcome to Connexion Collective.

If you opened this page, a small connection already exists between us — and that is exactly what the name is about.

Why "Connexion Collective"?

Connexion is the French spelling of "connection", and a variant of the English word. I picked it because I want to emphasise not a cold hyperlink, but the warm, real link between people and between ideas.

What will you find here?

Content revolves around three directions.

🎮 Games

Not just reviews and walkthroughs. I want to talk about the design logic and storytelling behind games, about the moments that kept me up all night or made me quit halfway, and about how games shape the way we see the world. AAA or indie, if it is worth saying, it belongs here.

🌍 The real world

Beyond games, life itself deserves recording. A street corner in some city, a half-read book, a failed cooking experiment, or a few thoughts on something happening in society. There is no fixed framework here — the only standard is "true".

🛠️ Code and tools

This section grew later, and it is currently the busiest part of the site.

  • Online tools: image compression, format conversion, cropping, watermarking, ICO and Base64 conversion, pixel art, SVG optimisation, EXIF inspection and stripping, PDF merge/split, QR codes, developer utilities — plus Minecraft coordinate conversion and datapack generation, and CS2 crosshair, sensitivity, viewmodel, and autoexec generators.
  • Every tool runs entirely in your browser: no uploads, no accounts, no usage limits, and nothing survives closing the tab.
  • Technical write-ups about how these tools were built — writing file formats by hand, choosing algorithms, and the traps I fell into twice. Most of it comes from real debugging rather than tutorial recycling.

In a hurry? Jump straight to the tool list or the blog archive.

How is this site built?

In one sentence: static wherever possible.

  • Built with Docusaurus and hosted on Cloudflare Pages
  • No backend, no database, no accounts; every "smart" part happens at build time or in your browser
  • The site source is open (MIT), the writing is licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 — see the terms for details

What rhythm should you expect?

Honestly, I don't want to set myself a "post every week" KPI. Quality matters more than frequency. But I can promise: everything published here has been thought through and written carefully. I would rather be slow than pad the numbers.

Finally

Connexion Collective is still very new — like a room with the frame just put up. In the days ahead I will keep adding things: articles, tools, and maybe some experiments that are not fully thought out yet.

If you like, come by often. Add it to your reading list, or leave a line in the comments so I know you were here.

The connection starts with this piece.
